Lectures and Seminars
In addition to his law practice, Howard’s avocation for the past 20 years has been to teach patent practice techniques to law students on the Intellectual Property track at John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois. In addition, for the past 10 years, he has taught engineering students in the nuances of Intellectual Property Law and Engineering Law at the College of Engineering of the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Howard’s desire to teach others about the advantages and benefits of our Intellectual Property laws has led him to present numerous seminars, tutorials and student lectures to a wide range of law professionals, and to engineering and scientific personnel who generate the innovations that move our country’s technology forward at an ever increasing pace.
Howard continues, as these words are written, to prepare for and deliver lectures and seminars to engineering management and research personnel, patent attorneys and agents, and even Patent Examiners from the Chinese Patent Office who are attending special courses in patent law at John Marshall Law School.
